 I was absent today. Im sure we continued reading and going in-depth on the rock pile.

 

Today as a class we started off with a 25 question quiz on the 4 Langston Hughes poems we’ve read. I personally didn’t do as well as I would’ve liked on the quiz but im making it a goal of mine to do better on the next. At the end of class we reviewed the answers as a class and went in-depth on what answers were wrong.

 This is my 8/22/23 blog, Today we continued to review the “Mother To Son” poem by answering discussion questions. I put a good amount of thought and detail into determining what some themes and tones were relating to the poem. Personal connections were made from answering these questions on the worksheet.
